Oqton is seeking a Director of Software Sales – EMEA to lead our software sales organization.


The Regional Sales Director at Oqton will be responsible for driving software sales across EMEA and India, tasked with developing and identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with partners, OEM’s and key customers in the region.


Managing a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure we meet our sales goals as well as expand our install base and position Oqton as leader in the manufacturing automation front.


You will work with leaders across our sales organization to collaborate and to ensure our organization achieves our revenue goals, while maintaining a high performing team by providing strong mentorship, leadership and guidance.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with experience in the software industry preferred.

This is a full-time position that will require frequent travel within the assigned region.


Responsibilities

  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
  • Exceed revenue projections through indirect/direct sales
  • Lead and motivate sales to maximize efficiency & business results
  • Invest in employee development & engagement
  • Create and execute business plans for growing the business
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities & initiatives in the region
  • Deliver regional forecasts, reports and analytics on reginal sales results
  • Develop the business with new partnerships, distribution channels and OEM’s
  • Assist in building stronger software product roadmap by sharing market feedback
  • Build strong relationships with partners and OEM’s in the region
  • 35-50% travel


Stellenanforderungen

  • 10+ year proven management experience in a sales related position
  • Language Skills: English, German/French (Optional)
  • Proven track record of success in sales
  • Experience in the software industry preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
