Job summary

You will be responsible for content marketing at Oqton, a division of 3D Systems. With global ownership for creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content, you will have a passion for attracting new audiences through online, social, and offline channels based on your understanding of target customers in manufacturing. You will be required to manage and create content that increases website traffic and lead conversion, ultimately increasing sales. In addition to content marketing, you will be expected to develop product communications aimed at customers. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to build relationships at all levels of a fast-growing organization across functions.

Objectives of this Role

As a member of the Marketing team, you will:

  • Manage and develop high-quality content optimized for organic customer acquisition
  • Translate Oqton’s value proposition into powerful messaging that increases unique website visitors and lead conversion
  • Create and manage the delivery of powerful content marketing, such as blog articles, social media posts, brochures, website content, press releases, newsletters, and web banners
  • Manage content for all applications and verticals on the website.
  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy for different industry verticals, and build a corresponding content calendar to ensure timely delivery across online properties and social media platforms
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to determine the core content pieces in the different stages of the buyer journey, and create and/or manage the creation of those assets
  • Establish Oqton as a thought leader across different industry verticals for relevant topics
  • Lead the development of customer stories, case studies, and blogs
  • Incorporate SEO best practices in all online activities and strive to increase SEO ranking for relevant keywords
  • Track performance of your content pieces and report on your activities
  • Write, edit, and proofread content

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related business field; or equivalent by experience
  • 5+ years in copywriting, editing, messaging, and positioning related to marketing communication, including writing for web, SEO, and social media
  • Deep familiarity with content marketing, value messaging, and inbound marketing
  • Extensive understanding of SEO, web publishing requirements, and content management software
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve to deliver results
  • Strong communicator with a positive mindset for taking feedback onboard from collaborators, the ability to inspire trust, and be adaptable in a small team environment
  • Highly organized and skilled at managing projects that deliver against goals
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is a plus
  • Experience with online tools such as Google Analytics, Semrush, Hubspot or Pardot is a plus
