Up for the challenge to become Oqton's next Sales Manager for Robotic Welding?


Oqton’s robotics team are redefining how robots will be deployed for welding applications. Traditionally, the time and costs associated to offline programming robots prevents their use for small batch automation or variable production workflows. Our solution enables autonomous end-to-end welding for high-mix, low-volume production using state-of-the-art AI powered software to fully automate the welding workflow from CAD to robot program.

To continue growing our successful sales network, we are seeking a European based Sales Manager who has a deep understanding of MIG/MAG welding and a proven track record in sales working with tier one businesses to develop new or existing clients.

You will be responsible for driving new business growth and nurturing existing business revenues through direct sales activities and in partnership with our resellers. Being in the field, you will act as a knowledgeable resource for resellers and customers who have questions or product-related issues as well as keep a pulse on market trends and new opportunities. Your outgoing nature and ability to gain buy-in from others will help grow the company’s reputation as well as the territory’s revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Build out sales channels and direct sales network to meet ambitious sales targets
  • Work closely with the product and marketing teams to continuously improve the product and go-to-market strategy
  • Manage customer data in CRM system and generate accurate pipeline and forecasts
  • Deliver compelling customer presentations, create quotations and conclude price negotiations

Pré-requis du poste

Qualifications

  • Experience selling technical products in a manufacturing environment
  • Thorough practical understanding of the MIG/MAG welding process
  • Experience with online and offline programming of welding robots
  • Ability to communicate effectively

Bonus qualifications

  • Fluency in German, French, Italian or Spanish.
  • Industrial experience selling software products within a manufacturing environment and especially within the robotics sector
